“If I really could look out the electronic window of my living room in Boston and see the Alps, hear the cowbells, and smell the (digital) manure in summer, in a way I am very much in Switzerland” (Nicholas Negroponte, “The Post-Information Age”).
Using Maya, I responded to this quote through a speculative fiction scene of a digital window, a screen which can be hung on the wall. The design of the home is through a retrofuturist lens, placing this emerging technology against interior styles of the 1950s and 60s. All assets are my own models.
