Hi! I’m Julia.

My goal is to be creative every day. As a designer, creativity is the tool I use to connect with people, solve problems, and approach complex ideas with a fresh perspective.

I am a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my B.A. in Design with minors in Mechanical Engineering, Consumer Psychology, and Fine Arts. I love combining creative strategy and user research to design experiences that are meaningful and personal, whether I’m constructing a set, prototyping a product, building a brand, or animating a story.

Currently, I work as a Visual Researcher and Animator at the Penn Animation as Research Lab, where I create video content to make climate research more accessible to coastal communities.

I developed my creative process through set design, a central part of my practice. I’m especially drawn to themed environments, from theater to retail to interactive experiences.
