With this poster, I developed a cohesive visual look for the jukebox musical JUMANGLEE, translating the design into digital and print formats for a variety of marketing materials.

The show features four students interacting with mythical characters in a video game, which required me to synthesize aesthetics of fantasy, adventure, and technology. I addressed this through stylized silhouettes of the show’s four fantasy characters against a TV glitch background. This horizon line aimed to invoke a sense of narrative space essential to the fantasy genre, as well as the mystery of ‘not yet unlocked’ video game characters. In the foreground, I drew inspiration from the line art and shading of adventure comic books for the four students, each delineated by a glitch color from the background.
